Interesting interview, Yann. Congratulations! By the way...I saw the black discus with red eyes... in my dreams  some time ago when I read about some black looking discus discovered in nature and my imagination went "on the hills" about how it would be like... It was velvet black(like Black Moly) with red eyes and a bit high body shape(like my Checkerboard Turquoise :D ). Stunning fish! I even thought about a name. But I have a pretty good imagination.

Ahahahahah One day... who knows!
But i think we are more close to a red spotted snakeskin leopard ring (with tiny tiny tiny rings) than the back molly discus! :)
Thank you, happy you enjoy the interview!

Yann :)

I think I saw some time ago images with this kind of discus. It looks very nice. The problem will be to remain over time with tiny tiny rings. Same thing applies with other patterned discus.

You said "Today, it is hard to see full vertical striated pigeon blood...". From my experience with pigeons, for those males with vertical striations(Tiger type) the pattern will close up and forms spots ...more or less. ;) The pattern "evolves" in time with the fish's age.
